Streams: The visa has three streams:
1. Post-Vocational Education Work Streamfor graduates with skills relevant to occupations in demand.
2. Post-Higher Education Work Streamfor graduates of higher education degrees.
3. Second Post-Higher Education Work Streamfor those who have already held a Temporary Graduate visa and meet specific criteria. - Duration: The length of stay varies by stream, ranging from 18 months to 4 years, with special provisions for certain passport holders, such as those from Hong Kong.
- Work Rights: Visa holders can work full-time and study while in Australia, with unrestricted work rights under the Post-Higher Education Work Stream.
- Eligibility: Applicants must have completed at least two years of study in Australia and meet specific age and health requirements. The age limit is generally 35 years, with some exemptions.
This visa allows you to
- stay in Australia for the period that aligns with the activities that you have been approved to undertake on this visa. The maximum stay periods allowed are:
- Graduate Work Stream – up to 18 months
- Post Study Work Stream– up to four years
